PHOTOS SENT IN BY JUDD SHAFER

Dear Kathy,

Conversational icebreakers often include the question, "What do you do for a living?" It makes sense, then, that is  when a life is memorialized on a gravestone, it often reflects the person's occupation.

Family history is more than just birthdates and death dates. It's the story of a lifetime. It's a legacy. It's who that person really was. And that often includes their occupations.
