Meeting held in S. Hall - August 10th, 1874. Opened by singing and prayer. Owing to our Secretary not being able to attend our business report was not read, and was held over to another meeting. There was a very full attendance and many of the Sisters enjoying a good and humble spirit, bearing a faithful testimony to the work of God in these the Last Days and desirous in every .... and able ....to do what they could do to further the interests of Zion. Some excellent counsel and instruction was given by Sisters Madsen, Peel and Simpson. Meeting closed with singing and brayer by Sister Madsen.
