This was my great-grandfather’s house. My father was Keith Glen McArthur who bought the home from his cousin Gerry McArthur. We as a family enjoyed traveling to Mt. Pleasant to stay in this home. We have such happy memories. We still love to visit Sanpete County whenever we can! Sadly, when Dad passed away we had to sell the house. I truly wish we could have kept it in the family. Thanks for posting this!

This home was my great-grandfather’s, Earnest Edwin McArthur’s home (yes, Earnest spelled with an “a”). He and his wife owned this city house as well as a home and farm in Mountainville. My father, Keith Glen McArthur, bought the home from his cousin Gerry McArthur. Mom and Dad loved to get away on the weekends and stay in the county where they grew up. Mom was a Tucker who grew up in Fairview and had a wonderful childhood there. Dad grew up in Mt. Pleasant. Dad was happy to buy his grandfather’s house. We loved visiting as often as we could. Such happy memories for us, their children and their grandchildren as well. Sadly, when Dad passed away we had to sell
the house. We wish we could have kept it in the family. We still love to visit Mt. Pleasant and Sanpete county as often as possible.
