Peggy Christensen

June 21, 1941 ~ Sept. 16, 2017

Peggy was born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Ray C. and Pearl Peterson. She married Ron Christensen on August 1, 1958; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple.

Peggy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved all her family without reservation. She was a friend to everyone and she led by example. She was especially filled with charity throughout her life. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings and she had a great love for the Savior and temple service. She also loved music.

She is survived by her husband Ron; her children, Allen (Debbie), Chad (Shelli), Troy and Heidi (John) Festin ; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Annetta Mower, Jill Sidwell; brothers-in-law, Lewis Sidwell and Owen Tucker. She is looking forward to seeing her parents; her sister Myrna; and many others on the other side.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 22, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at the LDS Chapel, 3900 West 4100 South. Viewings will be held Thursday, Sept. 21st, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and again Friday at the church prior to services from 9:30-10:40 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
