Each year the Mt. Pleasant Relic Home and Blacksmith Shop plays host to the North Sanpete School District Fourth Grades. They come as a field trip to be given more experience and understanding to the pioneer era.

They all go home with a "Prairie Diamond" which is the way the couples who fell in love on the plains were engaged and became married.
