Laura Johansen was asked by the new owner, Justin Hamilton, of Bluebird Candy in Logan to create a giant ornament to hang in the candy store. She was one of three artists selected, who created their own ornament. It took her about a week to finish the job, placing 44,000 jelly beans. The two designs, mounted on styrafoam shows on both sides. She is pictured here with her husband Dean Johansen and below with her four boys who also helped.
