June M. Nielson, 89 of Mt. Pleasant, Utah passed away June 24, 2012, in Nephi, Utah.
June was born June 23, 1923, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Leo & Eloese C. Christensen Monson.
June lived and worked in Mt. Pleasant her whole life. She married William J Unopulos on December 30, 1942, and later divorced; she married Farrell E. Nielson on March 14, 1959, deceased. June was a seamstress and worked for many sewing companies and with her friends started Sew Fantastic where they made apparel. She loved doing crafts, especially quilting and crocheting. She enjoyed the outdoors, family reunions, and traveling. June loved her family she was happiest with her children, grand and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the LDS church where she held many callings. June is survived by her sons, DeWayne & Sharon Monson, Puyallup, WA; William John Unopulos, Mt. Pleasant, UT; brother, David & Jedda Monson, Bountiful, UT; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Preceded in death by parents, husband Farrell, sisters, Leah Catherine Monson; LaRue & Irvin Conlon; brother, Arthur Lee Monson; son David Lee Unopulos; grandson DeWayne Monson Jr.; Randy Unopulos; great-granddaughter, Alisha Lynn.
