This past three days Peter and I have been attending the Girl's Softball Tournament in Lehi. Last night our Mt. Pleasant girls made history by achieving the State Championship. What a terrific bunch of girls and superb coaches. On their arrival home at 11:00 p.m., the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department met them just north of town. They climbed upon the fire engine and were escorted by sirens, screaming parents and a proud community welcoming them home. Our granddaughter, Mariah Hafen, back row and third girl from the right, pitched many of the games and also worked third base in the championship final.

2009 UTAH STATE GIRL'S SOFTBALL CHAMPS - MT. PLEASANT LEAGUE
