"Pioneer Texting"

Peter and I are working on a project partially supported by the Utah Humanities and Arts Council. Our project title is "Pioneer Texting". Many of you might not know that the William Stewart Seely or Relic Home was an early Deseret Telegraph Office. In doing research for this project, I came across this You Tube Video, which I thought might be interesting to post on our blog.

Anyone having old telegrams, especially those with "Deseret Telegraph" across the top portion, would you please e-mail or bring in a copy to the Relic Home. Of course, the original would be nice too, if you are so inclined. Be sure and watch the video. Thanks
