Leslie Menzies

Les Seely and other family members were in Mt. Pleasant this past month for a dedication of a memorial bench in the cemetery honoring two handcart pioneers who did not make it here.  It was a grand event and many came to the Relic Home as part of the activity.

Les said he would send these articles and  pictures  of his Uncle Les Menzies to us.  We are proud  of Les Menzies  and all our soldiers who have served in all branches of the military.

If anyone has photos of relatives and newspaper articles that you want to share please do so .  We believe that this is one way to  preserve Mt. Pleasant history through this blog for future generations.   Our email is: pandk@cut.net
