David's comments about the 100 acre ditch pond make me curious as he indicates the pond/system didn't function as it should. Perhaps the pond leaks more than I am aware. The only issue I see is the lack of water going into the pond once high water has finished in the late spring. Perhaps the pond leaks more than I am aware.
As to David's reference to his own system, I am unsure of whether he is referring to the one installed on his farm near the flood dam or his farm south of town.
Sam Stewart (I think David refers to my dad Sam Stewart in his post rather than me tho Dad never used the system and I have often)
