Elaine Madsen Brown HowardMt. Pleasant: Our dear mother and grandmother Elaine Howard passed away November 4, 2011 at her home of natural causes. She was attended by her daughter and granddaughter. Elaine was born June 10, 1925 to Jorgen and Crystal Hansen Madsen. Her mother, Crystal, passed away when Elaine was 1 year old. She was raised by her grandmother Hanna Madsen Christiansen (Besta) until she was 5 years old when her father married Johanna. Together Jorgen and Johanna had three boys; Emil, Earl, and Ralph.
