Colleen Allan Jensen
1936-2011
With humble hearts we pay tribute to our wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She returned to the arms of her beloved husband and Savior on October 8, 2011. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 22, 1936 to Charles Howard and Sylvia Rose Curtis Allan. Her happiest times were on the farm working side by side with dad. She also loved working many years as a beautician and later at Sanpete Valley Hospital.
She held numerous church callings in her life. She married our dad, Jack Jensen September 16, 1952 in the Logan LDS temple. He passed away January 14, 1993.
Mom’s life revolved around the things she loved most: children, grandchildren, extended family and friends, and the gospel.
She is survived by her son Kevin (Reba) Jensen and her daughters Terri (John) Brothersen, Vickie (Jerry) Shepherd all of Mt. Pleasant and Karen (Hal) Livingston of Moroni; brothers Jerry Allan of Lehi and Doug Allan of Mapleton; sister-in-law Lois Poulson of Mt. Pleasant. She also has 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a grandson and great granddaughter both stillborn.
Graveside services will be held Thursday October 13, 2011 in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary.
