Marilyn Bagnall, Richards, Buchanan has shared the "Bagnall Family History". It is filled with great events that occurred here in Mt. Pleasant as well as memoirs of Marilyn and her family. Marilyn and Joseph are the children of Joseph Rodley and Florence Noland Bagnall. Joseph was a bishop, stake president, legislator and wonderful family man. Florence directed the writing of many history books including "Saga of the Sanpitch" and "These Our Fathers". She was also a talented musician. On the opening page of this family history book it states: "to all who are Bagnall's by blood or marriage, may you have the joy of Researching Your Ancient Family and Recording your history of achievement and faith. There is a destiny that makes us Family, None walks his way alone. All that we put into the lives of others, Comes back to bless our own." Although we may not be Bagnalls, we appreciate the efforts that have gone into this family history and know that it will inspire others to write their own family history for future posterity as well as future historians in generations to come.
