Betsy Ann Lyman English

Betsy Ann Lyman English 78 of Mount Pleasant, UT passed away April 8, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 26, 1934 in New York City, NY to Donald Gowan & Maurine Robinson Lyman and grew up in Salt Lake City. She married Joseph Michael English on November 10, 1976 in Turlock, CA later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple November 29, 1995. The love she shared with Joe was extraordinary, beautiful and the core of her happiness.
Besty left a legacy of love, friendship and care. She had a passion for service, and the well being of others. She loved the Lord, music and singing, horses, lambs and hand crafts, just to name a few. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survived by her husband, Joe English, Mt. Pleasant, UT; children, Lester (Kimberly) Nilsen, Tucscon, AZ; Jana (John) Warren, Modesto, CA; Randi Rego, Oakdale, CA; siblings, Donald (Lavisa) Lyman, Provo, UT; John (Florence) Lyman, Salt Lake City, UT; LaGrand Lyman, Cedar City, UT; Gordan Lyman, Salt Lake City, UT; Edward (Rita) Lyman, West Valley City, UT; Robin Lyman, St. George, UT; Patty (Lynn) Jensen, Colorado Springs, CO; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Spencer Scott Nilsen; brothers, Francis Lyman and Thomas Lyman.
Funeral services will be Saturday April 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant North Stake Center (300 W. 500 N.) Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary (96 N 100 W) and Saturday from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at the church prior to services.
