Highlights In The Life of James Monsen ~ Written From Memory

There is so much valuable material in this small book that we have decided to make it a regular feature on our blog.  James Monsen was born in Mt. Pleasant in 1867.  He was the son of Peter Monsen and Dorothea Christensen Monsen.  His memories of his growing up years are filled with such wonderful accounts of great historical value which can be referenced for many years to come.  He also acknowledges  many friends and neighbors who played a great part in his development.  He was a  Mt. Pleasant Mayor and President of the Mt. Pleasant Pioneer Historical Association
