Ruby Stansfield

Ruby Anderson Stansfield died October 14, 2012, in Mt. Pleasant, UT. Our wonderful mother was born on December 28, 1920 in Fountain Green, UT to Joseph and Katie Jensen Anderson. 

Her early years were spent growing up with four brothers, three older and one younger. She graduated from Moroni High School in 1939. During the war years, she worked in the Manti Parachute Plant, and for a time at Hill in the typing pool.

She married Wayne J. Stansfield in the Manti LDS Temple on January 18, 1946. Their children are, Barbara Kay, Jerry, Colleen, Vince and Allen. Her focus was and will always be on family. 

The gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was a blue print for her life as she raised her family, or served in church or community. She loved family, friends, people, music and chocolate. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter and son-in-law (Colleen and Steve Turnbow), parents, a sister, and four brothers. 

She is survived by children, Barbara and Clair Oman, Jerry Stansfield, Vince and Anita Stansfield, and Allen and Marlene Stansfield, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brother, Gloyd (Alice) Anderson, and sisters-in-law, Leah Stansfield and Elaine Stansfield.

 Funeral services will be Friday Oct 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Mt. Pleasant North Stake Center (461 N 300 W). Friends may call Friday from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at the church prior to services. Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
